Eight Is Enough!

As Barack Obama pointed out during his speech to accept the Democratic party’s nomination for President of the United States, eight years of Republican bullshit is enough! I believe Barack Obama is an outstanding orator, unlike President Bush; his speech this evening was nothing short of spectacular.

There were many great points in Obama’s speech, but I had my favorite parts that I’m sure are different from everyone elses. I love how he called out Senator McCain’s voting record, citing that he has voted with George Bush 90% of the time. He reminded us that we should not pin our hopes on a 10% chance for change [by voting for John McCain]. The examples he used to demonstrate the ‘on your own’ mentality of the Republicans were spot on. But one of the best moments, and I’m sure to be the most quoted (the headlines of several news websites are already running with it), he pointed out that the troubles faced by Americans were not necessarily inflicted by the government, but the government’s failure to respond were definitely caused by “broken politics in Washington” and “the failed policies of George W. Bush.” Finally, it was brilliant how Barack Obama told the story of his family members and the hurdles they taught him to overcome to destroy the insinuation John McCain’s ad made when comparing him to celebrities such as Paris Hilton.

Change America! I am hopeful Barack Obama will be elected as our next President on November 4th. Please make sure you run to the polls. Vote for change! Vote for Barack Obama.

Does anyone read the Constitution anymore? All this talk about how the Democrats are going to bring about change, MY ASS! It clearly states in Article 1 section 7 that, “Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States; if he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law.”

This is a direct quote from the highest law of the land: The Constitution of the United States of America. This says that the Congress is the most powerful branch of government, and who has control of Congress? Yep, you guessed it, the Democrats! What I have always found bewildering is that people actually buy their dog and pony show. Jeff, I say this with all due respect. The more I’m getting to know you the more I love you, but let’s face the facts. Both you and Coley are being brainwashed by the liberal media machine! It is all hype, nothing more nothing less! Those people you heard tonight, with exception to Al Gore, were blowing smoke up your butt!

Yes, I give Barack credit for good speech making, but that is all it is! And Nancy Pelosi! That witch is a walking contradiction! At least with the Republican Party they will tell me to my face how they feel about let’s say oh the gay community. The Democrats will tell you a good line and in turn stab you in the back the moment your back is turned! You’re sleeping with the enemy! What I think is interesting is that Barack was egger to tell you about McCain, yet he did not tell you how many times he voted with Bush! Why was that omitted? Because the Democrats don’t give a damn about you, that’s why!

The core principle of the Democrats is this: higher tax with more government. Whereas the Republican core principle is less taxes with less government. It was brilliant how Barack was able sell his pitiful record to a large audience and in turn see how that group took it in hook-line-and-sinker.

    Pathetic!

On the one hand, I am elated that the next presumptive president is, in all probability, going to be Barack Obama. I admire his accomplishments through hard work and tenacity, and I am empowered knowing that there is someone out there who is willing to roll up his arm sleeves to get work done. I am even more inspired that there is someone, like myself, who did not have the support of a loving father to help him in life yet who chose to make intelligent decisions for a brighter tomorrow. And, I fully salute him for wanting to establish and support a beautiful family! He makes a great role model for not just the three hundred million plus Americans, but I will go even further. His life is the stuff of legend, and it is the world who can learn a great deal of Barack Obama! From those who live in abject poverty in India, to the AIDs ravished lands of Africa, Obama is a beacon of all that is positive and possible in the world. He is a beautiful person.

But on the other hand, I can’t afford another 4 years of a Bill Clinton presidency. This is where the good Senator and I differ. I admire Obama’s service, but his policies are utterly wrong.
